Over the last 5 years I have been acting in a variety of short films and TV series for both local students and professional film makers. Taking on the roles of a variety of Arab women of different backgrounds, social status and circumstances has been an extraordinary and rewarding way to explore, address and challenge social norms in the regional context. What started out as a hobby and passion for the art of performance and film has opened up a new insight into the significance of the narrative and developing my interest in this form of story telling.
